As part of the chamber (MCCM) introduction meetings with the other key players of the industry, last week, the President and the Vice-President of the MCCM, paid a visit to the new and outgoing president of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Marisa Xuereb and David Xuereb.
The `Chamber` is one of the oldest institutions of its kind, on the island. Established in 1848, the Malta Chamber of Commerce is the independent voice of the private sector in Malta. Its principal mission is to actively represent companies from all economic sectors and ensure that entrepreneurs enjoy the best competitive environment and regulatory conditions possible for the conduct of business.
For our young chamber, which is expected to be the voice of one of the most important key players within the construction industry and construction projects life cycle, close collaboration with the `Chamber` is essential.
During this familiarization meeting, the MCCM delegation presented its vision, both short and long term, work done so far and how its members are planning to contribute to the improvement and upscaling of the local construction industry.
