To continue with our Chamber`s vision of being at the forefront of the development and upscaling of the local construction industry, on the 9th of June we returned back to the sister island of Gozo.
Late last year we had the opportunity to meet with the Minister for Gozo Hon Clint Camilleri, a meeting during which we not only explained our chamber’s vision and goals for the local construction industry but also how we can assist in upscaling the standard in Gozo.
With the number of members living in Gozo always on the rise, it was time to meet the business community and their representative, Daniel Borg, CEO of the Gozo Business Chamber.
During this meeting, various topics were discussed and were evident how our two chambers can work together to the benefit of the construction industry in Gozo. It was agreed that this collaboration should be ratified through an MoU in which the areas of collaboration are highlighted.
For this meeting, the MCCM was represented by President Jesmond Chetcuti, Council Member and responsible for the Gozo region Edward Howell and MCCM member George Borg. The GBC was represented by CEO Daniel Borg.
