The Excellence in Construction Awards Launches its first Annual Awards Programme

3 October 2024 – Today, the Excellence in Construction Awards announced its inaugural programme that recognises exceptional achievements in the construction industry.

Supported by the Ministry for Justice and Reform of the Construction Sector, the awards programme was created to shape positive change in the industry, by honouring only the most outstanding demonstrations of excellence, innovation, sustainability and highest standards of quality.

From small to large contractors, the XCA will consider companies that significantly contribute to its mission – advancing construction excellence in the nation. The awards programme is overseen by an international jury panel, with a rigorous evaluation process set forth to ensure excellence is consistently recognised across twelve award categories:

1. Dedication To Sustainability
2. Quality And Workmanship
3. Workforce Training & Development
4. Commitment To Wellbeing, Health & Safety
5. Innovation, Research & Development
6. Excellence In Demolition And Excavation Works
7. Excellence In Infrastructure And Civil Works
8. Excellence In Mechanical & Electrical Installations
9. Excellence In Finishing Works
10. Conservation Awareness
11. Considerate Developer
12. Contractor Of The Year

The first awards ceremony will take place in February 2025.
Call for contractors to register their interest will open from 3 October to 31 October 2024.
Award submissions will begin on 20 November 2024, and close on 11 December 2024.
