On Monday the 7th of October, a delegation from the MCCM were invited to discuss matters of national interest that affect directly the construction and anything related to the Built Environment.
Main subject was the long awaited legal recognition for the Project Manager operating within the Built Environment.
Why Built Environment and not just construction. Similar to development world wide, we recognise the importance of the proper managment and administration of whole life cycle of projects, meaning more then just the construction stage.
During this meeting , that we have to say was well attended from the Opposition side, with no less then four members of Parliament that somehow have a direct or indirect influence on their sector of responsibility, thus being affected by activity taking place on construction sites and neighbouring projects.
Worth noting that members from the Opposition show interest in our CPD s and by juggling their busy agenda they also find time to attend some of our CPDs.
(Opposition MPs present for the meeting ; Hon Ing Stanley Zammit, Hon Ing Ryan Callus, Hon Dr Rebekah Borg and Hon Perit Graziella Galea MCCM was represented by Jesmond Chetcuti and Fabrizio Gerada)
