Our client is a large main building contractor on Malta undertaking a range of low-medium rise new build developments in addition to restoration and refurbishment projects.
Due to continued expansion and ongoing project awards, an Assistant Project Manager is now required to coordinate site workers and ensure work is completed on time.
Responsibilities include:
* Scheduling, coordinating and supervising site activities
* Planning procedures following determination of work requirements
* Overseeing progress of works on site and ensuring deadlines are met
* Liaising with Project Manager, subcontractors and other individuals
* Reporting on progress of project
* Responding appropriately to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
* Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, health and safety codes and other regulations
* Flexibly moving from site to site to ensure all the daily requirements are met
Talent will:
* Be knowledgeable of site works, materials and machinery
* Possess a valid driving license
* Demonstrate strong communication skills in English
* Have a commitment to ensure safe working practices
* Compatibility with the Company’s Values
* Possess people management skills
* Have strong organisation, planning and problem solving capabilities
